Welcome to the inaugural ADG Go Practice Green Awards, where commitment meets recognition.

In an era where sustainability is not just a choice but a necessity, these awards celebrate ADG dental groups & their practices that are leading the way in environmental stewardship.

By acknowledging the efforts of those committed to sustainable dentistry, we aim to inspire a wave of positive change across the industry.

The Award Categories

This year there are four award categories, encompassing individual, practice, and group efforts

Outstanding Practice Green Award (P)

Recognises practices that have excelled in advancing to Bronze status or higher, showcasing significant engagement from both team and patients. Criteria include measurable savings in energy and waste, alongside innovative engagement strategies.

Judging Criteria

1. Achievement of Bronze status or beyond

2. Evidence of active team and patient engagement

3. Demonstrable energy and waste savings.

Outstanding Group Green Award (G)

Honours the group that has most effectively integrated the Go Practice Green programme, leading by example across their estate. This includes embedding sustainable practices into their overall strategy and making tangible changes at the group level.

Judging Criteria:

1. Overall engagement and execution of the Go Practice Green programme.

2. Integration of sustainability into corporate strategy.

3. Evidence of tangible sustainability improvements at the group level.

Group Engagement Award (G)

Awards the group with the highest percentage of practices achieving Bronze status, highlighting commitment and widespread implementation of sustainable practices.

Judging Criteria:

1. Highest percentage of practices within the group achieving Bronze status.

2. Strategies implemented to encourage participation and achievement.

Individual Green Champion Award (P)

Celebrates the individual at practice level who has shown outstanding commitment and leadership in embracing and driving sustainability efforts.

Judging Criteria:

1. Leadership and initiative in sustainability practices.

2. Impact of sustainability efforts within their practice.

3. Engagement and inspiration of colleagues and patients.

Application Process

Eligibility Check

Ensure your group has at least 75% of its estate registered on the Go Practice Green platform.

Preparation

Download the Entry Guide first. Gather evidence of your sustainable practices, including metrics, photographs, and testimonials.

Online Application

Complete the entry form (links below), detailing your sustainability initiatives and achievements.

Documents

Upload any supporting documents that demonstrate your commitment and results in sustainable dentistry.

Submit

Review your application for completeness and accuracy, then submit before the deadline.

To qualify for the Go Practice Green Awards, groups must have at least 75% of their estate actively registered and participating in the Go Practice Green program.

This ensures that the awards truly reflect the commitment and impact of substantial portions of your practice groups.
